Premio Arte Laguna: il via alle iscrizioni ed è subito boom / Arte Laguna Art Prize a boom of registrations

Aperte da pochi giorni le iscrizioni al Premio Arte Laguna 2009, il concorso che, giunto alla sua quarta edizione, sta rivoluzionando l'approccio verso l'arte contemporanea, dando uno sguardo originale e inedito sulle opere della nuova generazione di giovani artisti, i "maestri" di domani

Solo da qualche giorno lo Studio Arte Laguna e l’Associazione Culturale MoCA hanno aperto ufficialmente le iscrizioni alla quarta edizione del Premio Internazionale Arte Laguna, patrocinato tra gli altri dal Ministero degli Esteri, dalla Regione del Veneto, dall’Istituto Europeo di Design, e da Nikon, e già il portale dedicato al premio – www.premioartelaguna.it – ha visto un vero e proprio boom di iscrizioni, che fanno pensare di poter raggiungere e superare le 4.000 opere alla chiusura del concorso.
L’interesse che questo premio, tutto veneziano ma con risonanza internazionale, riesce a scaturire nel mondo dell’arte contemporanea è incredibile, ed è dovuto innanzitutto all’impostazione innovativa voluta dai suoi fondatori, che l’hanno reso un concorso realmente accessibile a qualunque categoria di artista – basti pensare che nella scorsa edizione tra gli iscritti è apparso un cavallo – ma è dovuto soprattutto alla concreta portata del Premio: la possibilità di vincere non solo un riconoscimento in denaro, ma l’opportunità unica per qualunque artista di vedere le proprie opere esposte nella collettiva dedicata al Premio Arte Laguna, che si svolgerà presso l’Arsenale di Venezia a marzo 2010, e più avanti nell’esclusivo circuito di Gallerie d’Arte nazionali ed internazionali che sono state coinvolte in questo concorso.
Il Premio Arte Laguna si suddivide – come nelle precedenti edizioni – in tre sezioni: pittura, scultura e arte fotografica, ognuna delle quali presieduta da un quotato critico e curatore italiano. Quest’anno Igor Zanti per Scultura, Viviana Siviero per Pittura, e Alessandro Trabucco per Arte Fotografica, affiancati dai giurati eccellenti Stefano Coletto, curatore della Fondazione Bevilaqua La Masa di Venezia, Lorenzo Respi, curatore della Fondazione Arnaldo Pomodoro di Milano, e Rossella Bertolazzi, direttrice dell’Istituto Europeo di Design, si impegneranno a partire dalla chiusura delle iscrizioni (il 15 novembre per le iscrizioni via posta e il 26 novembre per le iscrizioni on-line) nella selezione dei 90 finalisti – 30 per sezione – che esporranno i propri lavori dal 6 al 27 marzo 2010 nell’Arsenale di Venezia, a seguito dell’evento di premiazione ufficiale che si svolgerà proprio in quegli immensi spazi che negli ultimi anni hanno assistito allo sfilare incessante di lavori dei più grandi artisti e architetti contemporanei.
In trepidante attesa di questa data, Arte Laguna anticipa i tempi per la conclusione del Premio Speciale “Collezione Tenuta S.Anna - Business for Art”, che offre la possibilità a tutti gli artisti che si iscrivono al Premio Arte Laguna con due opere alla sezione Pittura, di partecipare gratuitamente anche a questo concorso, con il tema: “I Colori della Terra”. Le iscrizioni a questo premio “enologico” sono aperte fino al 30 settembre 2009 per un motivo ben preciso: l'autore delle due opere vincitrici riceverà non solo un premio in denaro di € 5.000,00, ma soprattutto la possibilità di vedere le proprie creazioni riprodotte sulle etichette dei vini più prestigiosi di Tenuta S.Anna, in tiratura limitata e presentati in anteprima in occasione di Vinitaly 2010, la più importante esposizione internazionale del settore.

From just a few days registrations to Arte Laguna Art Prize 2009 are opened, and this important competition, in its 4th edition, is slightly changing the approach towards the contemporary art, giving an original look on the works of the young artists’ new generation, the “bigs” of tomorrow.

Since just a few days Studio Arte Laguna and the Cultural Association MoCA have officially opened the registrations to the 4th edition of the International Arte Laguna Art Prize, patronaged among others by the Ministry of Foreign Countries, from the Veneto Region, from the European Institute of Design, and from Nikon, and the website dedicated to the prize - www.premioartelaguna.it - has already signed a real registrations’ boom, that is a good premise to achieve and go over the 4.000 works registered at the end of the competition.

The interest that this prize, authentically venetian but with an international resonance, succeeds to originate in the contemporary art’s world is incredible, and is attributable in the first place to the innovative formulation chosen by its founders, that let it be a really accessible competition to any category of artist - just think that in the past edition among other artists appeared a horse - but it’s deserved above all to the concrete Prize’s range: the possibility to gain not only a monetary acknowledgment, but the only opportunity for any artist to see his own works exposed in the collective dedicated to the Arte Laguna Art Prize, than will be carried out in the Venice Arsenale in March 2010, and more ahead in the exclusive circuit of national and international Art Galleries, that have been involved in this competition.

Arte Laguna Art Prize is divided - like in the previous editions - in three sections: Painting, Sculpture and Photographic Art, each of which is presided from a quoted Italian critical and curator. This year Igor Zanti for Sculpture, Viviana Siviero for Painting, and Alexander Trabucco for Photographic Art, supported by Stefano Coletto, curator of the Fondazione Bevilaqua La Masa of Venezia, Lorenzo Respi, curator of the Fondazione Arnaldo Pomodoro of Milano, and Rossella Bertolazzi, director of the European Institute of Design, will be engaged since the registrations’ closing (15th of November for the post registrations and 26th of November for the on-line registrations) in the selection of the 90 finalists - 30 for section - that will display their from the 6th to the 27th of March 2010 in the Venice Arsenale, after the official prize-giving event that will be carried out just in those immense spaces that during the last few years have watched the intense works of the greatest contemporary artists and architects.

Waiting for this date, Arte Laguna Lagoon anticipates times for the conclusion of the Special Prize “Collezione Tenuta S.Anna - Business for Art”, that offers the possibility to all the artists who registered with two works to the Painting Section of the Arte Laguna Art Prize, to participate for free also to this competition, with the topic: “The Earth’s Colors”. Registrations to this “wine” prize are opened until the 30th september 2009 for a very precise reason: the winner will receive not just a money prize of € 5.000,00, but above all the possibility to see its own works reproduced on the Tenuta S.Anna more prestigious wine labels, in limited edition and introduced in a very special occasion: Vinitaly 2010, the more important international wine exhibition.
