Enzo Rullani is President of the TeDIS Center of Venice International University.
In his book Modernità sostenibile. Idee, filiere e servizi per uscire dalla crisi (Marsilio 2010), he interprets the 2007-2009 crisis as an opportunity to reset the meaning and the logic of modernity, in the framework of a new economic paradigm in which we are living: the global capitalism of knowledge.

Salvatore Rossi is Director of the Economic Research and International Relations unit of the Bank of Italy. In his book Controtempo. L’Italia nella crisi mondiale (Laterza 2009), he examines how Italy and its economy has been out of step with the world’s developed for many years. As globalization advances, Italy is being left behind, with an inadeguate specialization of labour while other countries exploit the technological revolution.

Gianni Toniolo is Professor of Economic History at Duke University and at the LUISS Guido Carli University in Rome.
His teaching and research has focused on such subjects as European and Italian economic growth since 1800, central banking and financial markets, international monetary cooperation, financial institutions, welfare and income distribution, post-war Europe and globalization..

The public boat no. 20 to San Servolo leaves from San Zaccaria opposite the Londra Palace Hotel, Riva degli Schiavoni.
