Elaine Lorenz di origine trentina di Levico, da parte della famiglia paterna. Suo padre emigrò a soli tre anni con la madre vedova, e i suoi genitori nel lontano 1920. E' nata a New York, assieme ad altri tre fratelli. Di cultura americana, ma il suo cuore batte anche per l'antica e lontana terra dei nonni dove viene spesso ad ammirare tutte le nostre bellezze architettoniche, paesaggiste e artistiche, non ultimo i nostri squisiti cibi e vino. Elaine Lorenz è professore all'università Willian Paterson in Wayne, NJ insegna scultura.
Ha cominciato esporre alla fine degli anni Ottanta. Le sue sculture si trovano in collezioni private e in vari musei americani.
Elaine Lorenz has an italian origin, as her father immigrated to United States with his mother when he was three years. They came from Levico ,a little town near Trento.
She is born in new York and she has three brothers. She is an american citizen but she doesn’t forget the country of her relatives.
She often comes to Italy to visit our art towns, our landscapes. She likes too our exquisite food.
She is a teacher of sculpture in the William Paterson University near New Jersey.
She begins to expone her artistic works at the end of 1980 and her sculptures are in the private collections and a lot of American museum.
